Birthday Bake-Off Delights
The Birthday Bake-Off competition was fiercely contested at the Fairtrade Fifth Birthday Party on the 27th March. A variety of tasty treats were on offer for party visitors to taste and judge, proving that the variety of Fairtrade ingredients on sale in Chesham make cakes every bit as tasty non-fairly traded goods.
The winner was Emily Jones with her Fairtrade Afternoon Tea Fancies, which won her a goody-bag of Fairtrade baking ingredients and the Fairtrade Everyday Cook Book. Lin Beechey came second with her Lemon Curd and Blueberry Loaf Cake. Both these recipes, and the others featured in the competition are available on our Fairtrade Recipes page.
